The Leipzig vocal sextet SJAELLA invites you on a musical journey among the branches: In both baroque and contemporary music, in several European languages, the six singers dedicate themselves to the great and small wonders of nature - the song of birds, the changing seasons and the longings of the human heart.
From Purcell and Janequin to Caroline Shaw and folk tunes from endangered linguistic regions, the program spans a wide range: Music as a mirror of nature, culture and identity.
