On Saturday, October 10, at 1:00 p.m., dokumentART invites you to a special film screening followed by a discussion as part of the “Bridging Europe” section. The screening will feature the documentary “Kumotry,” one of the most compelling debut films from the renowned Polish festival “Młodzi i Film.” Director Emilia Śniegoska will be in attendance and will speak with the audience afterward about the making of her film and its background.
“Kumotry” tells the touching story of friends Hanka and Bronka, who live in a Polish village in the Romanian Carpathians.
