The year is slowly coming to an end and Christmas is just around the corner, so it's high time for the
traditional Stralsund Christmas Rock Night. This time, however, the event will not take place in the workshop on the harbor island as usual
. Instead, the Gustav-Adolf-Saal of the
Kulturkirche St. Jakobi Stralsund will be the new stage. And what could harmonize better than a
Christmas rock night in a church? What's more, over 20 years ago, St. Jakobi Church was already an
important meeting place for up-and-coming regional musicians and provided young bands with free
rehearsal rooms. A real piece of Stralsund's cultural history, which is precisely why
organizer Fiete Blümel decided to move the Christmas Rock Night to the Kulturkirche at

The Christmas Rock Night will be opened by the band DUSTY BIRDS from Stralsund.
The four seasoned musicians from Stralsund start the evening with powerful, groovy rock.
The band brings new songs and proven classics to the stage. Handmade, powerful and
always with heart and enthusiasm. If you like energetic live music, you should definitely not miss this
opening highlight.
After a long time, DIAS are finally back. The last time they rocked the
Christmas Rock Night was in 2018. The four Stralsund boys bring together alternative rock with German
lyrics, heavy guitar riffs and melodic pop rock. From anthems to noise, sometimes
familiar, sometimes new, always striving to explore their own boundaries anew. Their melancholy
lyrics invite you to sing along, scream or simply dive in.
The trio ROVAR from North Rhine-Westphalia are headlining the
Christmas Rock Night for the first time. With their unique mix of experimental alternative rock
, they combine various musical influences to create rousing songs. Live, Rovar
inspire with unbridled energy, perfect interplay and a magical stage atmosphere.
Rovar have already toured all over Europe and have supported Wolfmother, The
Brew and Mothers Cake, among others. They have their new studio album "Smoke" in their luggage.
The band is a real highlight live and should not be missed.
