DAVID KEBEKUS
"SENSITIVE CONTENT" . 8:00 pm
Cabaret
David Kebekus has a new program - "Sensitive Content".
The world is turbulent, opinions clash and humor is constantly on thin ice - sensitive content everywhere.
David enjoys questioning social norms, traditions and rules.
In doing so, he comes across absurd trains of thought, ventures out of his comfort zone and finds new perspectives for us to deal with the crazy world.
"Sensitive Content" is stand-up comedy about the weird things we have to take as normal.
The uncomfortable truth as a template, humor as a coping strategy.
David Kebekus delivers sensitive content in a way that makes it fun. Refreshingly unimpressed, damn funny and sometimes on the pain threshold.
Because if you play it safe, you're not telling anything new.
And comedy without risk is already on TV!
KATHI WOLF
"KLAPSENBESTE". 8:30 p.m.
Cabaret
Kathi Wolf is a psychologist - and her own best customer. In the constant carousel of thoughts, even the self-proclaimed best slap gets dizzy, sometimes the ride ends in world-weariness, sometimes in activism. In a balancing act between stand-up comedy and political cabaret, the amateur boxer fights against the stigmatization of mental disorders, explores her own and society's "special effects" in a hilarious way and also likes to get into the ring with the patriarchy.
In times of extreme therapy shortages, quacks and faith healers are up to mischief and the capitalist exploitation of one's own suffering is more recognized than the actual illness in times of social media. The receipt is coming - from the best slap in person.
Why do fewer women than men go into politics? What does a family line-up in the Bundestag look like? And what happens when a member of parliament comes to her for therapy? With words, humor and music, she brings psychological expertise with a twinkle in her eye and political cabaret to the stage.
The best slap proves it: Humor is a form of therapy.
MELVIN HAACK
"THE LAST ONE BRAIN". 9:20 p.m.
Cabaret with delusions of grandeur
Melvin is a gourmet of sung alphabet soup. Takes the guitar and digs in: One burnt toast is all it takes to serve up the world formula.
Salto Wortale, laughing & feelings to the guitar. A fast-paced gallop through the word fields between Amrum and Australia, a bit of glitter in a cloud of carbon. This program is suitable for a young, smart audience; retired teachers are welcome.
Melvin is a non-winner of the Bielefeld Cabaret Prize and presenter of the German Infusion Championship.
