The 17th Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Youth Sports Games will take place in Neubrandenburg from June 26 to 28, 2026. This will once again make the four-gate city the center of youth sports in the state. The Youth Sports Games are the largest multi-sport event for young athletes in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern: Different sports, a common place, a common goal - to make sporting achievements visible and experience community.
The aim of the Youth Sports Games is to showcase the diversity of sport in the state, focus on young talent and at the same time visibly honor the great commitment of the clubs and volunteers. In addition to sporting competition, the focus is on fairness, team spirit and personal best performances.
"The Youth Sports Games are the showcase for young athletes in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Here we can experience the passion, talent and commitment with which our young athletes go their own way. Neubrandenburg offers an excellent stage for this in 2026," emphasizes LSB President Andreas Bluhm.
