What the walls tell us - A journey through time at Malchow Monastery
Malchow Abbey was founded around 1298 when nuns moved from Röbel to Malchow. Around 300 years later, it was converted into a noble ladies' convent. All the rooms had to be converted into apartments - changes that are still visible on the walls today.
The monastery complex also includes the Mecklenburg Organ Museum in the monastery church, the art museum, the monastery cemetery and Engel's Garden.
