"Writing Low German, reading Low German - 150 years of Martha Müller-Grählert"
To mark International Mother Tongue Day, the Heimatverband Mecklenburg-Vorpommern e.V. invites you to the 12th Plattdeutsch digital round table on February 21, 2026 from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm.
The focus will be on writing in Low German and the work and impact of Martha Müller-Grählert, whose 150th birthday is being celebrated this year. Based on her literary legacy, the focus will be on Low German writing today. Invited Low German writers will give personal insights into their texts and their writing in Low German in short contributions.
Once again this year, participants will have the opportunity to present themselves and their own projects.
The round table is designed as an open discussion and invites you to listen, think and talk.
