Twenty years after the mysterious death by fire of asylum seeker Oury Jalloh at a Dessau police station, Christine Zeides and Alexander Finger set out to investigate. Drawing on actual court documents from case file 6 KS 4/05 and excerpts from “The Trial,” they find themselves caught up in the turmoil of a Kafkaesque legal proceeding in which everything revolves around the search for the truth.
