When the eccentric Monsieur Quaerit, after 2,000 years without anyone to talk to, meets Antioco Angelico, he’s absolutely thrilled. But after their first few words, Antioco wishes he’d never have to see him again. Quaerit, however, isn’t so easy to shake off, which is why the two make a life-changing bet. Can the young student Antioco get rid of Monsieur Quaerit, or is it a lost cause?
The play explores the paths leading into addiction and the far more dubious attempts to break free from it.
