The NDR Info podcast "Armed Forces and Strategies" is a guest for the first time at the Wismar City Library in the Hanseatic City of Wismar's historic armory. The hosts of "Armed Forces and Strategies", Stefan Niemann and Kai Küstner, talk to maritime security expert Dr. Moritz Brake about the situation in the Baltic Sea region and how the navy is currently positioned for threat situations during the live recording of the podcast. Following the recording, the editorial team will answer questions from the audience.
The "Armed Forces and Strategies" podcast from NDR Info deals with security policy issues in Europe and worldwide. The focus is on the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine and the war in the Middle East. In conversation with experts, former foreign correspondents Anna Engelke, Stefan Niemann, Kai Küstner and Astrid Corall take turns to shed light on the new world order, Europe's response to the power interests of the USA, Russia and China and analyze the role of the Bundeswehr.
