Those who draw learn to see. Few subjects demand such immediate attention as the human body.

The human body is one of the most fascinating and challenging subjects in art. In our workshop on nude drawing, we invite you to approach this subject with curiosity, openness, and joy—whether this is your first time drawing the nude or you already have experience in drawing.

Together, we’ll explore the proportions, movement, and expression of the human body. The focus isn’t on the perfect line, but on observing closely: How does the body carry its weight? Where do tension and stillness arise? How can a fleeting moment be captured?

In a relaxed and respectful atmosphere, we’ll work with a professional model and various drawing materials. Short poses will alternate with longer studies, creating space for spontaneous sketches as well as for quieter, more focused work.

Prior experience is welcome but not required. All you need to bring is the willingness to train your eye and focus on what truly matters.

Instructor: Henning Spitzer, painter and sculptor
