"Tom and Darren – The Quiz" Visits Wismar
On November 11 at 7 p.m., the City Library invites you to a live quiz with Tom and Darren in the Zeughaussaal. Titled “City, Country, The End?”, this edition focuses on rural life and the challenges facing rural areas—from infrastructure and services to the consequences of demographic change.
The quiz is a participatory event: Participants will work in small teams to solve puzzles and compete for the best answers. A wide range of knowledge is required—everyone can contribute something. Tom Zimmermann and Darren Grundorf will host the evening; they have been organizing and hosting the international pub quiz at Hamburg’s Aalhaus together since 2011.
They’ve taken the pub quiz to a whole new level and shown just how versatile a quiz-style event can be—as a result, pub quizzes are now held throughout Germany and even internationally.
Refreshments will be provided by the Library Association, and a surprise awaits the winning team!
Admission is free, but registration is strongly encouraged at bib-dabei@wismar.de. Registered teams will be admitted first.
The event is part of the “Land.schafft.Demokratie” initiative and is sponsored by the Federal Agency for Civic Education and the German Library Association.
