Tom Klose is a man of contrasts: always accompanied by his faithful guitar, he sings sometimes with a delicate, fragile head voice, sometimes with a hard, powerful chest voice.
He will also be performing his new single at Blue Wednesday in Binz.
About the single "Micky Maus Pullover"
David Beta's new single is called "Micky Maus Pullover" and is a homage to everything that the 31-year-old singer and songwriter from Hamburg associates with this item of clothing: Memories, closed chapters and the somehow "now real adulthood" of those in their early thirties, which at the same time always turns out to be a nasty illusion.
David Beta's new song is a ruthless reckoning with the inner child. After all, all neuroses and fears, insecurities and compulsions were already present in oneself at an earlier age. Childhood isn't always fun and your inner child isn't always the voice you want to listen to. Recognizing this could be the next step. Whether in the direction of growing up or not - let's see.
Musically, the song is David's most energetic release (production: Julian Neumann) - groovy uptempo drums and well-distorted guitars with a few airy synth blasts make the song sound straightforward and driven.
