The Youth Hostel Murchin has pitched its small village in Vorpommern behind Usedom, directly on the small Murchiner lake. From there you can start exciting excursions in all directions.
Right behind the house there is tree species diversity. There, the nature trail "Seeholz" teaches you interesting facts about birds, bats and nature. The nature plays little further in the Peenetalmoor the main role. In Europe's largest contiguous wetland many rare plants grow. Legends live here too. Behind it is Anklam. The harbor town on the south bank of the Peene is adorned with beautiful historic buildings. There the aviation pioneer Otto Lilienthal was born. In the museum with the same name you can admire the beginnings of aviation. On Usedom, the imperial baths and many other surprises await your visit. Or just cycle on through green avenues, fields and forests, past old farmhouses, over gentle hills. Tip: Let yourself be seduced to stopover and look at glistening lakes, sights along the way and the Peene! On the "Amazon of the North", you can experience something as an athlete, nature freak or shipwright.
