The tourism association represents the region "Baltic Coast Mecklenburg", which stretches from the Baltic resorts Boltenhagen to Graal-Müritz, to the Schwerin Lake via Schwaan to Tessin.

The vacation destination "Mecklenburg Baltic Coast" between the Hanseatic cities of Lübeck, Wismar and Rostock has long been known as an ideal recreational destination. At the latest since the Mecklenburg dukes founded the first German seaside resort in Heiligendamm in 1793, thus laying the foundation for classic seaside tourism.

Today, tradition and diversity are characteristic of the Mecklenburg Baltic Coast, which stretches from the Baltic resorts of Boltenhagen to Graal-Müritz, to Lake Schwerin via Schwaan to Tessin. Romantic fishing villages and sophisticated seaside resorts, old farming villages and medieval towns - the Mecklenburg Baltic Coast has charm and offers every guest his own personal vacation home.
