Tennis has a long tradition in Teterow. The tennis club was founded as early as 1920. In GDR times, Teterow was a stronghold of tennis in the Neubrandenburg district. The junior section produced many district champions and even a GDR champion.

The current club was founded in 1998. In 2000, the facility was expanded to three courts and a modern clubhouse was built.

Guests also have the opportunity to use the tennis courts and can book a time slot at the Sport- und Angeltreff in Rostocker Straße or by calling 0162 1595507.
