Fine seams in paper - Ute Matthiesen creates paper in the heart of Bergen auf Rügen. Extraordinary art is created at the sewing machine: sewn watercolors and collages as well as exclusive art cards.

Originally coming from architecture, Ute Matthiesen uses seams as a fine and visible collage technique. Discover the "fine seams in paper": wonderful cards and extraordinary pictures - in a technique that you have probably never seen before. The studio gallery is located in the center of Bergen auf Rügen, in Kirchstraße not far from the portal of St. Mary's Church. Ute Matthiesen is usually absorbed in her work - even during opening hours. So please don't be surprised, but ring the bell so that she can open the door for you. You are very welcome and never disturb us.
