Welcome to the Seehotel Heidehof - your retreat in the middle of the idyllic Mecklenburg Lake District. The traditional hotel is picturesquely perched on a steep bank of Lake Tollensesee and inspires with its tranquillity, closeness to nature and unmistakable flair. Only a few minutes away from Neubrandenburg, a harmonious combination of relaxation, enjoyment and living history awaits you here.

Historic ambience meets modern comfort

Built in 1886, the building stands on the old vaults of a former St. John's commandery and once served as a tenant house for the Klein Nemerow estate. Since 1932, the "Heidehof" has been a popular excursion destination - today it shines as a lovingly managed lakeside hotel with cozy rooms, a fantastic location, lakeside terrace and light-flooded winter garden.

Our rooms combine historical charm with contemporary comfort. Whether double rooms with terrace, family rooms or accessible rooms - couples, families and single travelers will find their perfect temporary home here. Large parts of the rooms will be extensively renovated by the beginning of 2025 and will then shine in a modern, natural design with warm colors and loving details.

Regional cuisine & moments of indulgence with a view of the lake

In the Seehotel's own restaurant, you can enjoy culinary specialties from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern - fresh, regional and with a touch of international sophistication. Whether freshly caught fish from Lake Tollensesee, tender meat from sustainable farming or creative vegetarian dishes - our kitchen team places great importance on quality, regionality and seasonal variety. Let us spoil you in a stylish ambience with a magnificent view of the lake.

Active vacation & relaxation right by the water

Just a few steps from the hotel, Lake Tollensesee invites you to swim, relax or enjoy water sports. There is a jetty directly in front of the hotel where sailing boats, motorboats and canoes are welcome. The approximately 38-kilometre-long Lake Tollensesee circular cycle path, which runs right past the hotel and offers active relaxation in the midst of beautiful nature, is particularly popular.

Perfect for nature lovers, active vacationers & connoisseurs

Whether hiking, cycling, golfing or simply unwinding - the Seehotel Heidehof is the ideal starting point for a wide range of activities around Neubrandenburg, Lake Tollensesee and the Mecklenburg Lake District. Here, nature, history and hospitality combine to create an unforgettable vacation experience.
