Monuments and Sights

The locals preserve the nature of their island and especially the salt marshes with their unique flora and fauna.

Salt marshes are a protected area to which access is not readily available. Many unusual plants thrive in the meadows and can tolerate a high concentration of salt, which is absorbed with the water. Under the motto "Some plants like it salty", walks are offered where there are many interesting things to discover. Let yourself be surprised by the great diversity of species!
