Hof-Walden-Bioland certified family farm keeps laying hens, Gotland sheep and geese in mobile stables and produces potatoes, grain and protein feed.
Hof Walden is a small to medium-sized, family-run business that is often idealized in its public image. In practice, however, this means that we have to do almost everything ourselves, and the "we" involves many hands.
Chris and Gregor
The farmer's wife (management, logistics, customer service) and the farmer (all-rounder). After the birth of their four children, they wanted to start something new and decided, bravely or recklessly, to set up an organic farm.
The family
Instead of consulting jobs, family members take on manual tasks. We are particularly grateful for the support of Reinhard, Malte and other relatives. Our children also lend a helping hand at peak times.
Friends and neighbors
Some jobs, such as the potato harvest, cannot be done without help.
Woofers / interns / workawayers
We also receive support from many volunteers who help out in return for board and lodging.
