The mill in Dorf Mecklenburg is thatched.
The windmill, built in 1849, is an earthen mill with a brick base, covered with thatch. The wind turbine is preserved, the interior is now used as a gastronomic facility with a range of typical dishes. There are 50 seats in the restaurant, 60 in the farmhouse parlor and 40 in the bar. There is a bicycle rental in the house, sauna, whirlpool, solarium and a fitness room.
