My artistic work began with painting. In this field
I took part in several exhibitions, including at the church in Prerow
Prerow, at the Beguines in Rostock and in the Franzburg Monastery Gallery.
For over a year now, the focus of my work has been on creating
designing jewelry from tree beads. Tree beads are created
as a tree's natural reaction to injury. Their organically
forms and their individual history make them a particularly
them a particularly expressive material for me.
In my work, I respect the original shape of the tree bead and carefully
and carefully transform them into pieces of jewelry. Each object is a
handmade and unique. The focus is on the combination of nature,
time, careful craftsmanship and the appreciation of a grown material.
I work with tree beads because they bear traces of time, injury and protection. Their grown forms provide the framework - my work consists of making these visible and translating them into wearable jewelry objects. Each piece is unique and an expression of a silent collaboration with nature.
