Gutshaus Dahlen near Neubrandenburg is a simple building whose conversion dates back to 1806. It is thought to be related to the Romantic period.
Gut Dahlen was acquired by Isabel Dorothea Helwig, née Runge and sister of the Romantic painter Philipp Otto Runge. The color scheme and interior design, including a ceiling painting, refer to Goethe's color theory, which P.O. Runge studied intensively. The entire ensemble is a listed building and is currently being renovated by two Berliners.
