A beautiful wasteland in the midst of magnificent nature.
Our farm is picturesquely situated in a secluded location in the middle of fields with a wide view over gentle hills that will not let you get bored. It is a wonderful place to relax. The four-sided farm was built in 1860 and was dormant for 25 years before its renovation, which began in 2020. We have carefully restored the old farmhouse to the way it was originally built. Insulated throughout with ecological building materials and completely plastered with clay, the rooms immediately feel conspicuously good. The buildings breathe. The wall tiles in the showers are made by Einhaken, Annette Herrmann's ceramic manufactory. We pay attention to ecological and social - in the best case - happiness. So it really is a wonderful place to spend a vacation. Upon arrival, it is immediately relaxing. After a few dips in the swimming pond, you feel like you're in Italy on the sun lounger. You can watch the sand lizards or even the frogs soaking up the sun and the swallows flying elegantly and daringly around the trees. The area is ideal for cyclists, walkers, hikers and those who simply want to cook, eat, listen to music, read a book and sleep. We regularly host concerts, either in the converted cattle shed or in the garden surrounded by picturesque countryside, as well as the annual Kunst:Offen event. Every 4th Sunday of the month we open the café for Pancake Sunday.
