Hiddenseer harbor restaurant
The listed building, where guests are treated to a varied, healthy and diverse menu, was built in 1889. The maritime-themed restaurant has a cozy flair thanks to many original items from Hiddensee fishermen, craftsmen and residents. The large Sund terrace in particular offers interesting views of the new Rügen Bridge, the harbor and across to Germany's largest Island of Rügen.

Today, the playing card factory is more of a workshop than a museum. The Rügen causeway is the first fixed trafficable crossing of the Strelasund, over which both the old B 96, the Stralsund-Sassnitz railroad line and a footpath and cycle path lead. It was completed in 1937.
