The unique grave complex consisting of seven well-preserved, approx. 5000 year old large stone graves from the Funnel Beaker Culture is located in the triangle between the villages of Lancken-Granitz, Dummertevitz and Burtevitz.
The unique grave complex of seven well-preserved ca. 5000 year old megalithic graves from the Funnel Beaker Culture is located in the triangle between the villages of Lancken-Granitz, Dummertevitz and Burtevitz.This megalithic grave concentration, which is the largest and best preserved in the greater district of Vorpommern-Rügen, with formerly at least 19 barrows, has been almost completely archaeologically investigated. From the large dolmens with windbreaks, among other things, pottery shards, amber beads, axes, hatchets, arrowheads and blades, from some graves also human bones and finds from the Bronze Age could be recovered.
