Baptist congregation in Mecklenburg Switzerland

The first Baptists came to Malchin as early as 1883. Today, the Evangelische-Freikirchliche Gemeinde Mecklenburg Switzerland includes the congregations of Dargun, Malchin and Teterow. In Teterow, the building of the former SED district leadership was converted into a place of worship and now offers plenty of space for prayer, church life, concerts and a wide range of activities. The bookcase in front of the building, initiated and maintained by the congregation, invites people to browse and swap books.
