Since 1602 the Stäbelow church has been a branch of Parkentin. Since 1976 it belongs to the parish Parkentin-Hanstorf.
The village church of Stäbelow was built towards the end of the 13th century as a Gothic brick building on a foundation of granite stones.

The Hohen Luckow manor, commissioned by Christoph von Bassewitz in 1707, is located in the gentle moraine landscape of Mecklenburg only 25 km from the Baltic Sea. The magnificent stucco on the ceilings of the salons has made the manor famous. The manor with its farm buildings, landscaped park and estates form an ensemble unique in the region.
