Bredenfelde Castle is worth a visit in any season. 15 guest rooms, banquet hall, fireplace room and wine vault await the guest as well as parkland with ancient trees.The castle is an exquisite ambience for weddings and family celebrations. From the 1st of Advent it is transformed into the Christmas Castle Bredenfelde.

The building, built in Tudor style in 1850, was completely renovated in 1999-2001. The castle is equipped with child-friendly vacation apartments, with a playground, barbecue, bicycle rental as well as seminar and training rooms, banquet hall, fireplace hall and wine vault. The landscape park according to plans by Lenné (1840) is currently being restored and adapted to the current property situation and vegetation. Ivenack Castle

The older, middle part of the castle dates back to the 16th century - the monastery building. A first extension took place in 1709 and after passing to the Imperial Counts v. Plessen around 1750. The semicircular stables, the orangery, the tea house and the church also date from this period. Around 1810, the castle was again extended by two wings. Since 2016, it has been renovated in accordance with the preservation order. The 1000-year-old Ivenack oaks in the former animal park are Germany's first national natural monument.
