Guided water tours, Canoe and boat hire

The canoe rental Plau am See exists since 1997, every year it has grown a bit and has given a home to many adventurers in that time. You can not only rent kayaks and canoes from us, but also stay overnight in the guesthouse. New at the canoe rental Plau am See: "SUP" - also suitable for beginners.

Our tours take you through the waters of the Mecklenburg Lake District. Starting in Plau am See, you can either explore Lake Plau or set off on the Elde in the direction of Schwerin or Dömitz.

Due to the low current the Elde is easily navigable in both directions. The many locks are free of charge on our tours. Our trips take you to lonely beaches that invite you to swim or to charming towns. On one of our canoe tours you can explore the town of Lübz. The town is not only known for its excellent Lübzer beer.

We offer tours from one to two hours for beginners and also day trips for advanced canoeists. Whether quiet and romantic on the river or wild and adventurous on the big lakes, the decision is yours.
