Borner Forestry and Hunting Museum Ferdinand von Raesfeld

The museum displays various exhibitions related to forestry and hunting: Darß forestry and hunting history, Ferdinand von Raesfeld - life and work, history of resin extraction, trophies and taxidermy, saws in forestry use and forestry tools. Especially popular with young and old are the taxidermy specimens, from otters to badgers and raccoons. The most famous taxidermy is the one of two fighting deer, which shows the rutting fight of the deer. This preparation is unique in Europe.
