From September through November, you can witness an impressive spectacle at the Pramort crane roost as the cranes form a wedge-shaped formation or line up in a long chain as they fly to their roosts.
A green roof was installed over the rectangular observation deck. It provides shelter from the wind and rain for all observers with binoculars, spotting scopes, and cameras.
At the same time, the migrating birds are not disturbed by the people observing them from below. So it’s a win-win for both people and animals! Spotting scopes, binoculars, and lenses for wildlife observation can be borrowed at the Max Hünten House.
The platform was built to be natural and in harmony with the surroundings. The Pramort crane observation platform is barrier-free and undisturbed.
