The beginning is easy with entry at the dragon boat club Schwerin, into the small connecting channel from Lake Schwerin to Lake Heidensee.
It goes across the Heidensee, which is very small, directly into the connecting channel to the Ziegel-Außensee. You keep to the left on the shore, past the small numerous boathouses until you come to the bridge that divides the Ziegel-Außensee and -Innensee. Here once under it!
After a small round in the Ziegel-Innensee you can make a short stop at the Hotel Speicher or continue paddling directly and take the way back.
Water profile
Calm waters with light motorboat traffic. Every now and then the "White Fleet" comes sailing by, but if you keep to the edge of the Ziegelsee, you won't get in each other's way.
