In the Rostock Heath there are about 60 km of bridle paths leading through one of the last large closed forest areas on the German Baltic coast. The Rostock Heath offers you a comprehensive recreational area where you can enjoy the unspoiled landscape and explore the secrets of the forest on horseback, on foot or by bike. Special highlight: Stolper Ort, the beach area that invites you to ride all year round. You will find there a small paddock, which is available for you and your horse for a break.

You can also get the riding trail network as a map at the city forestry office in Wiethagen. You can also start your tour from there. Another option is the Stuthof riding stable. Individual guided tours are also offered there. Another option is the parking lot in Torfbrücke, from where you can also get directly to the bridle path.
