The task of MV Tourismus GmbH is to improve the vacation region of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern by involving locals, tourism stakeholders and guests, their ideas, criticisms and suggestions, and thus to continuously and tangibly improve the quality of life and vacation. The process and the cooperation should always be constructive and appreciative. Please therefore take note of the following information and tips.
Rules for digital honesty
- Be polite, fair and friendly: Behind every comment/profile is a person. Behave on the internet as you would face to face and as you would want to be treated yourself.
- Stay objective: Everyone has the right to freedom of expression (within the limits of the law). Engage constructively with the community, even if you do not share the opinion of others. Cite sources and authors when you quote or refer to something.
- Stay understandable: Write your comments in easily understandable language, in German and explain your opinion so that everyone can participate in the discussion. Stick to the topic of the discussion and refrain from sarcasm, irony and cynicism. Keep it short and let other users have their say too.
Your posts and comments on our channels are public. Please note that you are contributing to the discussion with your posts and comments. Furthermore, your posts and comments may be used or quoted in whole or in part for formats with reference to your profile. You retain the copyright to your contributions and, by creating a contribution or comment, you grant us the right to permanently store and archive the content in our channels.

- Full quotations without the express permission of the rights holder (e.g. complete articles)
- Quotations without stating a source or the author
- Comments that do not deal with the topic of the respective post
- Links to external websites without reference to the original post
Moderation on our channels
We strive for an open, constructive dialog. The moderator has the task of ensuring dialog within the framework of netiquette and acts neutrally. If, at the moderator's discretion, a post violates netiquette, we will point this out to the user before deleting it. We reserve the right to exclude users from our channels who repeatedly or particularly violate our rules of conduct, even after a warning. All users are responsible for their behavior and comments. We accept no liability for this content. Criminally relevant comments will be reported to the police.
