Sleeping where flamingos and parakeets say goodnight

It's easy to lose track of time on a trip around the world through Marlow Bird Park.

Luckily, there are overnight accommodation options if one day is not enough. From a cave to a stork's nest - in these unusual accommodations close to feathered or hairy neighbors, the night becomes a pure nature adventure.

Sleeping with the family in the middle of nature

In the five huts - Storchennest, Masoalalodge, Keahöhle, Baumbett Deluxe and Dodos Turmstübchen - for two to eight people, there is everything a family needs for an overnight stay in the great outdoors. In addition to sleeping areas with beds, there are kitchenettes with crockery, dishwasher, kettle and mini fridge. There is also a bathroom with WC and shower.

The rooms are located in different themed areas of the bird park, for example in the Südamerica enclosure, the stork enclosure or the Madagascar enclosure. The special view is just one of the highlights. Listening to the nocturnal sounds is at least as exciting. When the guests leave, the perceived sounds in Marlow Bird Park change. Now nature plays first fiddle and enchants with compositions of rustling leaves, insect chirps and bird calls. After such unusual impressions, breakfast the next morning is just what you need.

On tour in the morning or evening

An overnight stay can be wonderfully complemented with the Schlüauml;fer and the Frühaufstehertour. On the Schlüuml;fertour, guests take a guided walk through the park in the evening, visit selected keas, lorises, lemurs and alpacas, look over the shoulders of the zookeepers and sometimes even watch the animal feedings.

If you love the morning, come along on the early bird tour for breakfast. Porcupines, cougars and farm animals get their first meal of the day.

So close to the animals

If you love animals, you like to observe them up close. This is possible at Marlow Bird Park, as almost every animal kingdom here is open to visitors. In the budgerigar enclosure, for example, which is modeled on the Australian outback, over 300 birds chatter happily and enjoy eating millet from the guests' hands. No less curious is the 20-strong family of lemurs in the Madagascar enclosure. The pretty animals roam through the 3,000 square meter area and like to take a close look at the two-legged friends.

Every day at 12 noon, one of a total of ten shows takes place here. The daily animal and flight shows are undoubtedly a highlight. With „Parrot, Pelican and Co.“ or „Eagle, Owls and Co.“ for example, the birds fly over the heads of the spectators and perform all kinds of tricks.

Let's play!

In addition to the animal worlds, the park also enchants its young and old guests with original play worlds. Ten play areas invite you to climb, play hopscotch, swing, slide and run around.
