Here, to the north of the Binz promenade and right next to the IFA vacation park, there is a wide, fine sandy stretch especially for your four-legged friends. Between beach access points 50 and 51, dogs can run around off the lead all year round - ideal conditions for digging, fetching and splashing around in the gently sloping Baltic Sea.
Infrastructure & comfort
- Beach bar for leisurely breaks, snack bar with fish sandwiches and ice cream as well as public toilets are just a few steps behind the dunes.
- The parking lot „Strand Nord“ is about 200 m away; so you can quickly reach the water with your dog towel and toys.
Leash & season rules
From May 1 to September 30, dogs are generally not allowed on the main beach in the Ostseebad Binz; exceptions are the designated dog beaches such as the north beach, where your furry friends are still allowed to run free. Between October 1 and April 30, the entire coastal strip is then open to dogs on a leash.
Tip:
The neighboring nudist section borders directly on the dog beach – so pay attention to the signs and keep a respectful distance. For even more exercise, you can reach the Prora dog beach further north on foot in just a few minutes.
Whether it's an extended day at the beach or a quick walk before breakfast: on the north beach of Binz you can enjoy that pure Baltic Sea feeling with plenty of space, service and a warm "Wau-Willkommen"!
