Depth in an airy guise
Thoughtful, political, but above all life-oriented lyrics, sparingly arranged musically, meet two great voices that fill every room with love. The Berlin jack-of-all-trades Dirk Zöllner and the Thuringian singer Steffi Breiting have been close friends for many years and so their musical encounters are frequent.
Their duet "Zwei blinde Passagiere" is the crowning glory of the last Zöllner album "Portugal" from 2023. They celebrate their platonic love here, not without coquetry. Dirk and Steffi already had a respectable hit in 2017 with "Zwei Sonnen". The hymn to love is often played at weddings.
With Steffi's life partner Tobias Hillig on guitar and Zöllner's long-time partner André Gensicke on keyboards, "Blinde Passagiere" is a project that conveys friendship and peace alongside the highest level of musicality.
