An enjoyable evening with author Christine Dähn and musician Thomas Natschinski ... "Jugendliebe" is as beautiful as sweet strawberries in winter and the 'most popular East German hit' of all time in the new federal states.
Ute Freudenberg, the power woman from idyllic Weimar, turned "Jugendliebe" into a cult song. Journalist and presenter Christine Dähn, the most beautiful voice of DT 64, has written down the success story of this great singer.
It is an endless love story, stunning, sparkling, sexy and rock 'n roll. The ballad king, songwriter and keyboarder Thomas Natschinski not only composed "Berührung", the most beautiful love song of the GDR. He knows his way around the world of love and rock 'n roll songs. He plays and sings them in this concert and Christine Dähn presents the most beautiful stories and anecdotes from her book about Ute Freudenberg, the Thursday Rose: Ute's childhood love, her love for Mäxchen the pig and the country air, the swallowed vowels of Herbert Grönemeyer and her love for the main street of Weimar Schöndorf, where John Lennon didn't have his glasses touched up. She also answers the question: What really distinguishes girls and boys and what does this Thuringian woman lovingly share with actor Uwe Ochsenknecht, Oscar winner Tom Hanks, tennis star Björn Borg and magician David Copperfield?
This concert reading can be experienced on September 03, 2026 at 19:00 in the Kulturkirche St. Jakobi in Stralsund.
Tickets are available at the Stralsund Tourist Office, online via Reservix and at the box office.
