If you’d like to help shape how our society addresses important issues for the future—here in Demmin and throughout Germany—the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Youth Forum “Stimme(n) der Jugend” offers you a unique opportunity to have your say, share ideas, and network. Join us!
In 2026, the Deutsche Gesellschaft e. V. will once again organize four nationwide youth forums under the title “Stimme(n) der Jugend” (Voices of Youth), funded by the Federal Ministry of the Interior and the BürgerStiftung Höxter, and in cooperation with the State Agency for Political Education of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. At these forums, teenagers and young adults aged 16 to 35 will have the opportunity to discuss issues shaping the future.
On September 8, 2026, starting at 10:00 a.m. (until 1:30 p.m., followed by a small reception) to the Friesenhöhe Youth Center (Sandbergtannen 3, 17109 Demmin) in Demmin for the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Youth Forum, where we will address the following three topics in a World Café format:
- World Café 1: What Do I Have to Do with Politics? – Engagement and Participation in Demmin
- World Café 2: Social Media—Between Cyberbullying, Likes, and More
- World Café 3: Physical and Psychological Addictions – Impact, Overcoming, and Prevention
