XXL fireworks

At the traditional island-wide XXL fireworks display, guests can look forward to a varied evening featuring music, a live show, and a spectacular fireworks display right on the Baltic Sea beach.

Party DJ Melody will kick off the evening with music and set the right party mood, guiding the audience through the evening and keeping the energy high between performances.
A special highlight of the evening is the LENA – Nena Double Show. Starting at 7:30 p.m., she’ll take the audience on a musical journey back to the ’80s and perform the greatest hits of German pop icon Nena.
Afterward, Party DJ Melody will take the stage again to get guests in the mood for the highlight of the evening.

At 8:50 p.m., the moment arrives: The XXL fireworks display, which will travel from Ahlbeck through the imperial spas and seaside resorts all the way to Karlshagen that evening, reaches Trassenheide and lights up the sky above the beach in a dazzling array of colors.

Note: Event Shuttle
An event shuttle is available for this event. UsedomCard holders can ride to the event venue and back for free. The bus operates in the Trassenheide-Karlshagen-Peenemünde area. When the shuttle bus is not in service, it is located across from the “Zur Düne” guesthouse at the turnaround point near the concert shell.

The event shuttle can be booked by phone at 01556 / 8223865 or online via the OSU app (currently available only in the Google Play Store). It runs for up to 30 minutes after the event ends.

Note: Parking near the Concert Shell
The Konzertmuschel in the Baltic resort of Trassenheide is located directly on the beach promenade. There are plenty of bike racks available on site. If you’re traveling by car, you can park in the Strandstraße/Dünenstraße parking lot for a fee. Please enter “Dünenstraße 2” into your navigation system. The entrance to the parking lot is on the left side of the street. It is approximately 300 m to the concert shell.
Alternative parking options include the Festwiese and VOSTRA parking lots in front of the Trassenmoor train stop (for a fee). It is approximately 1 km to the concert shell.
Note: Rain Protection at the Concert Shell
The concert venue is equipped with 6 rain and sun umbrellas, ensuring a pleasant experience in any weather. Except during storms, these umbrellas are opened by our staff on site so you can enjoy the event in the shelter (limited capacity under the umbrellas).
Note: Restrooms at the concert shell
There are several public restrooms in the immediate vicinity of the concert shell (Strandstraße/on the beach promenade – Beach Access 9G) that can be used free of charge. The restroom building located directly on Strandstraße is equipped with an accessible restroom. A Euro key is required to use it.
