is a participatory, continuously developing "Global Art Project", which is presented in various phases and documented on the project website.
This multimedia project combines conceptual art, photography, video and site-specific installations.
Conceived by Rainer Junghanns, the project builds bridges between diverse artistic, cultural and intercultural contexts.
In the age of AI, the profound cultural and humanistic value of the "human-to-human" exchange of knowledge is in danger of being largely lost. This project is therefore deliberately designed as a "storytelling project" - based on the realization that knowledge is rooted in sensory experience.
We cordially invite you to the exhibition opening on June 20, 2026 at the German Japan Museum / Museum of Contemporary Art "Mitsuko Castle". The opening event starts at 14:00.
The project will then travel to Busan (Korea), where it will be on display from July 29 to August 18, 2026.
As an ongoing artistic transformation project, the "Global Art Project" will continue its journey in China - starting on September 19, 2026 as part of the Pingyao International Photo Festival (PIP).
