Free city tours from the "Stralsund Tour Guide Association 07"
The "Stralsund Tour Guide Association 07" is once again taking part in this year's nationwide World Tour Guide Day in Stralsund.The association cordially invites all interested locals or guests of the Hanseatic City of Stralsund to free, informative and entertaining city tours under this year's motto "With open eyes through Stralsund".This motto offers a wide selection of sights that are perhaps not quite so obvious, that should be viewed from a different angle, or that are completely hidden and can therefore only be seen at second glance, and is therefore also very suitable for "die-hard" Stralsund residents.
Meeting point: 11 am, on the Alter Markt, in front of the Gewerkschaftshaus

During these special guided tours by various members of our association, you will be surprised at what you can discover when you walk through Stralsund with your eyes wide open.
For the 17th time, the Stralsund Tourist Guide Association 07 is offering voluntary guided tours through the old town of Stralsund to mark World Tourist Guide Day.In recent years, the members of the association have been able to show several hundred participants the special and unusual sights of our beautiful Hanseatic and World Heritage city on these days.
The Stralsund Tour Guide Association 07 is an association of 25 well-trained and experienced tour guides and tour leaders. The members of the association regularly attend further training courses to deepen their knowledge and are always happy to learn new things. This year, the association is celebrating its 19th anniversary, having been in existence since 2007!
The members of the association are not only knowledgeable tour guides in Stralsund's old town, but also church guides in the magnificent Gothic churches and are happy to act as guides in the two important maritime museums "Ozeaneum" and "Meeresmuseum".In addition, they are of course also on duty as tour guides on the particularly scenic islands of Rügen and Hiddensee, Island of Usedom and Fischland-Darß, and throughout our region.
The association is, of course, a proud member of the Federal Association of Tour Guides in Germany - its professional lobby at a national and European political level - which, among other things, sets the national motto for World Tour Guide Day every year.Living their profession as a vocation is exactly how the Stralsund tour guides feel - they are always enthusiastic, knowledgeable and particularly committed to their tours! They always have a lot to tell and show!
And the tours they offer in Stralsund are as individual as the tour guides themselves.
