A different kind of floral splendor
This time of year transforms the barren moor into a "sea of flowers" of a special kind: cotton grasses, yellow irises, marsh spurge, water feathers and many other plants worth protecting, which have adapted to the special conditions in the raised bog, show themselves in all their beauty.
Every Wednesday from 28.05. - 16.07.2025 you can visit the "blooming" raised bog.
Meeting point is at 10:00 am at the "Forest and Moor" information center
in Neuheide, Ribnitzer Landweg 3.
The tour is about 7.5 kilometers long and takes about 3 hours.
