"Dreamy folk pop, enchanting harmonies and an almost warming vocal color" (0381 Magazine).

Singer-songwriter Laura Folkers fuses pop, jazz and folk elements. Her songs are sensitive and powerful at the same time. They vividly tell of "everything that wants to be expressed through music". Laura Folkers works with harmonies that create mystical, emotional or simply beautiful moods: an invitation to the soundtrack in her head. She is inspired by artists such as Becca Stevens, Norah Jones and Ben Folds.

She performs solo, as a duo with percussionist Anton Thelemann or with a four-piece band. Typical for her performances: The acoustic guitar, which is the source of most of her song ideas.

"Music and songwriting have always been great ways for me to express myself, process emotions or communicate. I spent a lot of time in music school as a child and also spent a lot of time with my instruments (vocals, guitar, piano). I still experiment and improvise a lot and observe which themes want to come out. That's how most of my songs are created."
