Clear language instead of hateful comments
A toxic comment in the team chat. An embarrassing photo that suddenly starts circulating in the group. An overnight firestorm, just because you spoke up. Cyberbullying doesn’t stop at the factory gate; and women in leadership roles and those who are self-employed often bear the brunt of it.
Where does fun end and harassment begin? What can you do when digital attacks poison your workday? And above all: How do I respond in the moment, rather than agonizing later over what I should have said?
In this interactive session, we’ll clarify where the boundaries lie, what facts and figures really show, and who to turn to in an emergency. We’ll look at powerful real-world examples of a clear corporate stance—and, most importantly, take action ourselves: In a mini quick-wittedness workshop, we’ll practice together how to come up with quick-witted responses to sexist remarks at work.
About the Speaker:
Luise Görlach is an online activist, media psychologist, and curious “internet flâneuse.” She advocates for digital self-determination as a fundamental right—one that is all too often denied to women online. With a clear stance and a feminist perspective, she makes complex topics such as data protection, IT security, and measures against digital violence accessible, and demonstrates that digital self-defense has an impact far beyond the screen.
