Under the musical direction of Guido Düwell, the Damgarten choir Northern Lights gets everyone in the mood for the cold season with classical choral works.
The Northern Lights Choir will kick off this year’s winter concert series at St. Bartholomew’s Church in Damgarten. Under the musical direction of Guido Düwell, the choir will perform classical choral works by Johannes Petzold, Michael Praetorius, John Rutter, David Willcocks, and Ralph Vaughan Williams.
Northern Lights was founded in 2023 from the former Damgarten church choir. Since then, the singers have been meeting weekly to rehearse classical works. With several performances each year, the choir enriches the musical life of Ribnitz-Damgarten and the surrounding area.
