Join Weinbau Witt from the Lüneburg Heath and Gartower Weineck to discover new wines, sample delicious antipasti, and enjoy live music by Mathias Bozo.
What actually grows up north?
Not just heather, grain, and potatoes—but wine, too, these days!
On Saturday, September 12, starting at 7:00 p.m., the cultural venue KADE on the Elbe invites you to a special wine tasting.
The event will feature two wine merchants who will bring their personal favorites to share for tasting.
Gartower Weineck will bring a wide selection of Spanish, Italian, and French wines, as well as some from Rheinhessen and the Palatinate.
Also participating is WITT Wein from the Lüneburg Heath—an extraordinary project in which organic wine has been produced at the Alvermann farm in Groß Thondorf since 2018.
What initially sounded like a bold idea has since developed into a remarkable part of northern German wine culture.
In addition to regional wines and other selections, there’s plenty to compare—and, of course, the opportunity to purchase your favorite wines.
We’ll be serving Italian antipasti, and Mathias Bozo will provide musical accompaniment on the piano.
An evening for wine lovers, the curious, and anyone who’d like to discover something new in their glass.
We look forward to a delightful evening with you!
