A satirical guide to the highest form of cohabitation
"Marriage is an attempt to deal with problems as a couple that you would never have had alone." Woody Allen
There are many reasons, apart from love and affection, to get married. A tidy home, always fresh laundry, food on the table and so on...
Whether this marriage is then also happy ...????? One can only quote Clint Eastwood, who said:
"There's only one way to have a happy marriage, and as soon as I find out what it is, I'm getting married again."
Alexander g. Schäfer has now collected material on the FOR and AGAINST of marriage from his own and other people's experiences - stories, aphorisms, anecdotes - and will give a humorous presentation.
Of course, he cannot influence what the audience will take from this. He philosophically agrees with Socrates, who once said:
"Marry or do not marry. You will regret both."
Alexander g.Schäfer is a Berlin actor, director and presenter, son of Maxe Baumann ( Gerd E. Schäfer ) and now successfully on the road as Maxe Baumann himself ( Beelitz 2025 ), was for years an ensemble member of the legendary Berlin cabaret theater "Die Stachelschweine", now a guest at the " Herkuleskeule " Dresden and can be seen regularly on TV, on and behind the stage. He is also a successful stage and television author.
