Russia is openly revisionist, the transatlantic security partnership is under pressure - and Europe is currently barely prepared for an independent defense. In her book, Dr. Jana Puglierin, head of the Berlin office of the European Council on Foreign Relations, presents the threats to which Europe is exposed - conventional, hybrid and nuclear - and shows what urgently needs to happen now to make Europe more capable of defending itself.
